  • American Forests Earth Week Campaign

    While working as the Eddie Bauer content editor, I worked closely with American Forests—the brand's longstanding philantropic partner—as well as internal stakeholders, including PR, marketing and art directors, to concept, build and develop a content campaign around the brand's annual giving campaign.

    The campaign included a social media contest, a voting component and in-depth profiles of specific reforestation projects supported by Eddie Bauer donations. As part of the project I worked with the internal AF marketing contact to arrange interviews with forest ecologists, to harvest biological overviews of the individual projects and to crowdsource location-based imagery from American Forests fans and supporters.

    Lastly, I rolled out the story posts in a timed cadence through the Eddie Bauer content and social channels to align with Earth Day. The campaign was so successful it carried for four additional years and made me an integral part of the philanthropy group at Eddie Bauer.
