    2023 Telly Award Winner

    Corporate hype videos often miss the mark in attempt to sell business objectives without substance or connection. So when Stanley asked us to collaborate on a video project we took a creative path less traveled. We shaped a narrative based on the inventive brand strategy we’d recently developed with key internal partners. We penned a narrative that pulled from the manifesto and origin story we developed for the brand, then tied it to their big idea while also emphasizing a bold, new design philosophy to reach an expanding global audience.

    Our shop worked with their motion editor, audio editor, art director and internal production department—providing insight, oversight and creative horsepower during the edit process to lead the storytelling vision through to final edit. One of the many highlights was directing the voice actor during the audio recording sessions of the script we developed to capture the brand voice and emotional feel. The resulting brand video not only injected excitement and passion into their board presentations, global sales meetings and employee orientations, but when shown at the Sundance Film Festival sponsor summit, it was hailed as a crowd-favorite sizzle reel that elicited the deepest personal connection even when measured against industry heavyweights such as Acura, Canada Goose, Canon and Netflix.

The resulting brand video served as an engaging, empowering presentation of the new face of their brand—adding excitement and enthusiasm, but also connection, to their board presentation, global sales meetings and employee orientations.

    In 2023, we were honored to learn that the Stanley brand launch hype video was awarded two prestigious Telly Awards for video advertising, honoring our collaborative work with Stanley's internal team of Josh Pluger and Dan Colavito as well as external editor Emily Macke.
