As the most established, esteemed and trusted PR agency in the outdoor industry, Backbone has provided the respected stance, the knowledgeable pitch and messaging amplification that has helped build hundreds of brands from Black Diamond, YETI and Filson to Sitka, Smartwool and Salomon. Yet it’s not as easy to talk about yourself. So we were honored when Backbone reached out to Voicebox West and trusted us with developing their brand voice for their shop and their new website. Through in-depth interviews with company partners and a trip to Carbondale, we crystalized their essence based on a powerful foundation of brand values in pitch-perfect words and creative perspective. We also, of course, skied a bit while we were there.
