    With a deep to connection to Stio’s ethic both personally and professionally, we were honored to be asked to collaborate on the creative theme and messaging strategy behind their 10-Year Anniversary campaign. Working closely with marketing director Liz Barrett, we brainstormed a format for their iconic Mountain Journal publication and developed the idea of featuring their best trip content from the first ten years of their existence. We also worked to sketch out a starting point for the messaging strategy in company founder Steve Sullivan’s powerful, personal narrative that kicked off both the print journal and the fall catalogs.

    We were further flattered when the words and thinking we developed for Stio’s brand book project were featured in multiple locations as essay content in their definitive Mountain Journal, speaking for the brand in a deeply resonant way. Extending far beyond just print, the defining lookback campaign was broadcast in various expressions through all channels, from email and social to paid digital—laying down a significant mile mark matched to the 2x growth of the Jackson-based company during the three-year run of our collaboration with the brand.
